About WDC

Wellington Diving Club (WDC) was founded in 1990 by Gordon Ng. We are a community based springboard and platform diving program, which operates out of Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre in Kilbirnie. WRAC is an international standard facility, which has hosted many big diving events over the years.

We offer professionally run classes / programmes to suit all ages and abilities, from beginners to senior international athletes and Olympians! Whether you're starting out or have some experience - dive in and see if it's right for you!

If you are:

  • comfortable in 5m deep water
  • can confidently swim 25m
  • are aged 6yrs+

We welcome you and / or your child to come to the diving pool and have a go!

Training focuses on coordination, concentration, strength, spatial awareness, agility and so much more!

We value Diversity, Inclusion, and have a Vision of a community that thrives on the pursuit of Excellence - unique to each individual.

Above all, diving dares you to develop confidence AND is GREAT FUN!
